Our goal was to create the best-cut bikini we’ve worn in a complete eco-friendly and sustainable way.…

AND SO WE DID!

The idea for SixtyNinety was born during the Burning Man Festival – a great place for new projects to take shape – and the company was founded by best friends Aline Lima and Daniela Trece. Vanusa Fonseca came on board in 2017, and now we’re the Brazilian version of the Three Musketeers (except wearing bikinis instead of quilted velvet).

We had the desire to develop a brand in line with sustainable practices, from textile to packaging. We sell beachwear, but our work is really done in sourcing textile and production new technologies – we’re always in tune with the latest development, discovering yarns and ways of production that will not have a negative impact in the environment ‘Check our Sustainability page’

SEXY AND SUSTAINABLE

Swimwear needs to fit to perfection. There is no way to hide when all you have is a small piece of fabric. We took away all unnecessary elastic bands, and designed a bikini tailored to the female body – seamless, extra soft and sexy.

Created by Women for Women

The reality is that ‘85% of sweatshop workers are young women between the ages of 15 and 25. They are often desperately poor and work long, long hours, sometimes up to 20 hours a day, and their wages still do not give them enough to feed and clothe their families.’ This is why we produce 100% of our items in a small factory in Brazil ran by women. When you buy your SixtyNinety apparel you know ‘WHO MAKES YOUR CLOTHES’.
